We believe in a responsible and safe mindset that takes care of our customers, products, and fellow employees.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to join our team in France. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the company's financial data and processes, managing the accounting operations, banking activities, tax declarations and conducting monthly and yearly account closings. Additionally, the Senior Accountant will support with ERP implementation, preparing reports and other administrative tasks.Key Responsibilities:
  • Document accounting procedures and working guide. Guarantee the accounting data quality of the company.
  • In charge of accounting (customer invoicing, supplier invoices, intragroup invoicing reconciliation, provisions, inventory, fixed assets). Ensure receivables are recovered in time.
  • Conduct monthly and annual accounting closing. Deliver P&L and BS.
  • In charge of banking. Cash difference reconciliation.
  • VAT and Corporate income tax declaration.
  • Provide explanation to auditors or local tax authorities.
  • Participate in ERP (IFS) implementation. Master IFS accounting system and conducting reports in the Group system (Tagetik).
  • Assist Entity Finance manager for preparing reports and analysis for the management team.
  • Miscellaneous administration tasks: insurance, company legal documents archives (sales contract, supplier contract, registration with government).
Qualifications
  • Over 8 years of working experience in Accounting.
  • Accounting diploma is required (DCG or DSCG).
  • Solid competence in ERP usage. Experience with IFS is a plus.
  • Experience working in a similar position in a small or mid-sized company, ideally from machinery sales, retail and logistics.
  • Accurate and proactive.
  • Working language is French, operational level of English is required.
