Head of Compliance and Safety - Aerospace industry

• Acting as the internal expert and point of contact for regulatory compliance and safety.
• Ensuring the organisation's full compliance with applicable regulations and safety directives.
• Leading internal and external audits, identifying gaps, and proposing corrective actions.
• Coordinating investigation processes and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
• Supporting the development and enforcement of Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) procedures.
• Supporting the opening of new sites or operational lines with compliance guidance.
• Ensuring the validity of all site-level certifications and operational approvals.
• Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on compliance, safety, and quality culture.

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, or equivalent technical experience.
• Alternatively, 15+ years of experience as a certified aircraft technician with exposure to regulatory and quality functions
• Expert-level knowledge of European maintenance regulations, Safety Management Systems, and quality assurance processes.
• Demonstrated experience in audit management, OHS planning, and compliance leadership.
• Prior experience in a similar compliance or safety role in an industrial or maintenance-heavy environment
• Fluent English; knowledge of French and/or Dutch is a distinct advantage.
• Willingness to travel
