The culture is technical, collaborative, and innovation-driven.About the RoleAs a Developer in a Finite Element Software for Sheet Metal Forming, you will contribute to the enhancement of software dedicated to stamping and forming processes. Your role focuses on designing and implementing new FEM-based simulation features and models for thermomechanical behaviors. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring the tool’s precision and industrial applicability.ResponsibilitiesThe Finite Element Software Developer – Sheet Metal Forming contributes to the development of software dedicated to stamping and forming processes. He is a specialist of the Finite Element Method (FEM).Develop advanced simulation features for metal stamping processes.Implement thermomechanical modeling, numerical schemes, and FEM capabilities.Maintain and debug existing codebases (FORTRAN90, C).Collaborate with technical support to resolve customer issues.Work with cross-functional teams including product management and validation.Contribute to continuous performance optimization and software robustness.QualificationsRequired QualificationsMaster’s degree or PhD in structural mechanics or applied mathematics with a focus on numerical simulation.Industrial experience developing FEM software.Strong expertise in structural mechanics, FEM, numerical methods, and Thermomechanical modeling.Proficient in FORTRAN 90 and C programming.Fluent in EnglishDesired QualificationsExperience in High-Performance Computing (HPC).Familiarity with MPI (Message Passing Interface).Practical knowledge or exposure to metal stamping processes.Autonomous work style and strong team spirit are highly valued.***Keysight is an Equal Opportunity Employer.***
