- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in analog/RF electronics design, with 2+ years in a leadership or management role.
- Proven expertise in designing, simulating, and testing analog and RF circuits, with experience in low-noise systems or signal acquisition chains.
- Solid understanding of electromagnetic principles, analog signal paths, and interfacing with digital control systems.
- Experience with PCB design and layout tools, cable shielding, and EMI management.
- Familiarity with cryogenic electronics, SQUID systems, or superconducting detection is a strong plus.
- Knowledge or hands-on experience in MRI systems, including RF coils and gradient electronics, is a strong plus.
- Hands-on experience using test and measurement tools such as oscilloscopes, VNAs, and spectrum analyzers.
- Excellent planning and communication skills; capable of guiding research planning and reporting results across stakeholders.
- Experience working under regulated environments with working knowledge of ISO 13485 and IEC 60601.
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary electronics team covering RF systems, low-noise analog design, cryogenic detection, and MRI gradient/transmit electronics.
- Oversee the design, simulation, and validation of complex analog and RF electronic systems.
- Contribute directly to the development of analog/RF hardware, including PCB schematic and layout design, cabling, shielding, grounding and system integration tasks.
- Guide the development of data acquisition and embedded control systems, ensuring proper analog-to-digital interfacing and system synchronization.
- Plan, schedule, and manage research efforts to meet technical milestones from NMR experiments to full MRI prototype evaluation.
- Support the development, operation & integration of cryogenic systems and cold electronics (down to 2K temperatures) to achieve optimal low-noise performance in the detection line.
- Manage and review simulation and modeling work, including electromagnetic and noise simulations using FEM tools and circuit modeling.
- Oversee the characterization and testing of electronic components and systems using test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
- Lead or contribute to the design of gradient and RF coils, transmit/receive chain optimization, and electromagnetic system tuning.
- Coordinate verification and validation activities for prototype electronics, ensuring alignment with system requirements and documentation under ISO 13485.
- Support the documentation, traceability, and compliance of designs and experiments within the QMS framework (ISO 13485).
- Collaborate with other engineering teams (Mechanical, MRI validation and Software) to align system-level development efforts and integration planning.
