- Lead and drive the resolution of regulatory and product safety issues affecting Essential Home products in the region.
- Provide regulatory support and consultancy to internal and external customers in a business-oriented way (including induction, training, etc).
- In partnership with the wider Essential Home Regulatory team, define and maintain departmental policies, guidelines and procedures.
- Ensure regulatory operations are executed in line with them.Active participation in the development and implementation of best practices across the regulatory organisation.
- Be a source of proposition to improve our products and processes; for example, propose new claims, etc.
- Ensure enquiries by regulatory authorities are handled professionally and swiftly.
- Able to manage and develop a small team of junior regulatory professional if required.
- Degree in natural sciences, preferably Chemistry, Biochemistry.
- More than 3 years in FMCG Reg Affairs or regulatory agency or FMCG R&D.
- Strong understanding of the local relevant Regulatory landscape.
- Good understanding of the EU Chemical and detergents legislation, eg. CLP, Detergent Regulatory, BPR.
- Experience in product registration, Product development and Life Cycle Management.
- Experience in Quality Management is a plus.
- Fluent in English - a significant amount of communication in English with international colleagues is expected.
- Experienced with all standard software applications (MS-Office etc.)
- Experience with risk assessments of consumer goods.
