Job Description:Airbus Helicopters is looking for a M&A Senior Manager (f/m) to join our Company Development department based in Marignane, France.You will be Part of the Strategy function of Airbus Helicopters. The M&A department of Airbus Helicopters is solicited to originate and execute M&A and JV projects. It is currently comprised of 6 Senior Managers, with dedicated Finance, Legal and HR support.Based in Marignane, the Senior Manager will contribute to Airbus Helicopters’ M&A initiatives. His/her key priorities will therefore be to:Contribute to the origination of M&A dealsStructure and negotiate M&A / JV transactions with external parties, and manage the internal approval processMore generally, oversee the successful completion of transactionsYour working environment:Major economic hub with Marseille-Provence Airport, Marignane is a dynamic city in the southeast of France. Wherever possible, we foster flexible working arrangements to stimulate innovative thinking.Your challenges:Cover all steps of M&A projects from target identification until execution and preparation for integrationThis includes financial modelling of an acquisition / disposal / JV case, coordination of necessary stakeholders, negotiation with the seller / buyer / partner, presentation to executive management, and in general the entire project management of the opportunityCoordinate with external advisors (investment bankers, lawyers, auditors, strategy consultants…)Ensure the optimal execution of the transaction and identification of risks associatedYour profile:
  • Education: Strong education in Finance and/or engineering background
  • Languages: Complete fluency in English is mandatory. Fluency in a second language is required (ideally French or German)
The successful candidate for this role needs to possess the following skills and competencies:The successful candidate is likely to have a minimum of ~10 years of M&A experience gained either in an advisory capacity (investment banking/big-4 TAS) or in an in-house corporate development team, with a clear track record of successfully executing transactionsPrior aerospace & defence industry expertise is a clear distinguishing factorSynthetic and able to keep in mind the overall vision of the transactions/projects he/she managesStrong analytical skills and expertise in risk analysis, deal structuring and executionAbility to work with a high diversity of stakeholders (e.g., clients, partners, financial institutions)Negotiating skills and ability to work with other parties involved in structuring deals, from lawyers to accountants to investment banksBalanced and transparent, he/she has got solid communication skills, both oral and writtenLeadership and drive, in particular capacity to keep moving topics forward without formal hierarchical authority to do soAdaptable, he/she will be able to cope with a high-performance culture without any arroganceEnergetic, positive, passionate and strongly motivated individual, that is not easily deterredCuriosity and intellectual agility, the candidate is enthusiastic about working in an international environmentWould you please provide Cover letter, CV and deal sheet that summarizes on the transactions you have ledNot a 100% match?
