- Support oncology researchers in interdisciplinary project teams with Bioinformatics and Data Analysis expertise.
- Design and implement methods and algorithms for transcriptomics data analysis in our in-house data analysis platform PanHunter.
- Contribute to drug discovery project analyzing various “omics” data type, public or generated in-house.
- PhD in Bioinformatics, Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Computer Science, Computational Biology or a related discipline or alternatively MSc with 3+ years experience as bioinformatician.
- Proficiency in working with bioinformatics methods and tools in the field of transcriptomics.
- Strong programming skills in least one programming language as well as experience in programming R are required.
- Experience in working with Linux systems is expected.
- Experience with R/Shiny and data visualization is a plus.
- Experience working with oncology databases and datasets is a plus.
- Capability to organize your work efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work independently in interdisciplinary teams and a fast-paced work environment.
