- Develop and execute commodity strategies for offshore tooling, transport/storage frames, and associated services, including make-or-buy decisions and sourcing optimization.
- Define, build, and manage the supplier panel in collaboration with cross-functional teams (Installation, Engineering, Quality).
- Lead sourcing activities: prepare and issue RFIs/RFQs, conduct supplier evaluations, and ensure offers align with technical and commercial requirements.
- Negotiate commercial terms, frame agreements, and POs, ensuring compliance with internal policies and maximizing cost and cash-flow efficiencies.
- Manage supplier relationships during the sourcing phase, ensuring clear communication, long-term alignment, and early engagement on capacity and capability planning.
- Conduct or coordinate supplier audits focused on manufacturing capacity, quality processes, and operational readiness prior to awarding contracts.
- Stay updated on commodity market trends, supplier capabilities, raw material risks, and geopolitical factors.
- Oversee execution of POs and frame agreements from award to final delivery, including proactive tracking of manufacturing, logistics, and supplier documentation.
- Monitor supplier performance across delivery, quality, and responsiveness; initiate corrective and recovery actions as needed.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships during execution, acting as the commercial point of contact for escalations and coordination.
- Conduct supplier follow-up audits or site visits during production to confirm adherence to timelines, quality requirements, and process controls.
- Manage contractual claims, back-charges, and non-conformance issues with suppliers, ensuring appropriate resolution and documentation.
- Provide regular status updates to sourcing and project leadership, including risks, mitigation plans, and supplier performance reviews.
- Ensure full adherence to internal sourcing and fulfillment processes, including documentation and reporting.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of sourcing workflows, tools, and risk management practices.
- Support supplier and internal audits, and actively engage in lessons learned and performance improvement initiatives.

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Project Management (required)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or manufacturing environments
- Experience managing sourcing for engineered products or industrial equipment, ideally within renewable energy or infrastructure sectors
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Good understanding of contract law, T&Cs, and sourcing risk management
- Strong understanding of project manufacturing processes (e.g. fabrication planning, capacity management, quality control)
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle) and Microsoft Office tools
- Awareness of offshore wind or heavy industry standards (preferred)
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Additional languages are an asset
