Job Category: RISKS & CONTROLJob Description:We are looking for a Manager to lead the Real Estate credit analysis team in the Specialized Lending (SL) division, which also includes the Commodities and Real Assets activities (Infrastructure/Projects, Aviation and Real Estate). You are responsible for the organization and distribution of work within a team of 6 credit analysts, managing approximately 600 credit applications per year. Your team also intervenes on various cross-cutting topics and projects related to the real estate portfolio.The geographic area covered is mainly in Europe (France, Germany, Italy and Spain), with significant interactions with our German mortgage bank (NPB) and our teams based in the US, London and Asia, making this function a truly global role.On a daily basis, your day-to-day tasks will include:
  • Team management: Organize the distribution of credit analysis requests processed in workflow or for passage into credit committees as well as transversal topics;
  • Credit review validation: Review and approve team analyses, which must challenge business reviews. Support the team's positions and recommendations at credit committees, especially for complex files;
  • Exercise of a credit delegation;
  • Proactive monitoring of the portfolio and identification of sensitive files to exchange with the management of the Risk Department in advance and possible inclusion on a Watch List;
  • Representation of risks: Promote your recommendations / those of your teams in the credit committees, thus representing the Risk Department for the final decision making;
  • Managing cross-cutting topics: Organise and actively participate in the management of topics beyond the scope of Real Estate within the division and across departments;
  • Model management: Ensure the proper use and evolution of our rating and LGD models, taking into account our back-testing and portfolio developments.
You play a key role in setting up new operations, working with the business lines, and are proactive in managing and tracking risks and models (rating and LGD).
